We have been married for a few years but have not owned a home together. Duvall was convenient to our jobs. We both have good management level jobs and make a good living. I have children by a former marriage that live in rural Pierce County. I get them every other weekend so the 3+ hour drive 2 times in 2 days really cut down on the time I could spend with them and was exhausting besides. So when I got news of a transfer to Pierce County I was hoping it would be possible to spend more time with my kids. Natalie manages a professional office and it was about an equal commute for her so she was happy. Natalie and I make enough money to consider buying but the divorce from my first wife didn’t help my credit. We spoke to a couple of lenders from time to time about loans with little down but they didn’t give us a warm and fuzzy feeling about succeeding down that route. So, when I cruised the internet looking for a home opportunity and saw your ad it seemed to really speak to me. It said I could lease/own a home now and improve my credit at the same time. I said to myself: “This is different”. So I checked out your website. It was reassuring to read about all of your other people that had done this before so I felt confident about leaving my name and information. When we met with you for the first time in person we were impressed. You took the time to explain everything in detail including all of the costs and fees. We read all of the materials and contracts and talked about it. Then, we started to get really excited because we could see that you had a real plan to help us. Once we wrote the check for the consulting fee things got started right away. Everyone we worked with on your team…our team…of credit counselors, lenders, realtors,etc., were very professional and helpful. Getting all of that advice built our confidence that we really could do this and become a homeowner within two years or sooner in a home that we could pick. Your realtor showed us a number of homes and we found one that was just right for us. So, here we are now, at the end of the trail, ready to move in. I am so happy to be closer to my children. Natalie and I are looking forward to settling in and making it our home, not just plunking down in someone else’s investment property. Things happened just the way you explained to us at the beginning. I guess I shouldn’t say that this is the end of the trail because we really look forward to continuing to work with you to qualify for our own mortgage loan and take title. This may really be just the beginning. We really look forward to that. You have been great to work with Kamal. Anybody with similar circumstances would be making a good decision to work with you too.
